Nature and architecture working together

The Sibaya Coastal Precinct spans across 1000 hectares of landscape and will boast approximately 600 hectares of ‘green space’. The beautiful indigenous scenery will be preserved, while development will shape around the hilltops, the valleys and ultimately connect different areas through paths, trails and green-lined boulevards. The estates and infrastructure are designed to seamlessly merge into the natural surrounds.

Access to protected forests

Residents will have access to 350 hectares of protected, coastal forest. Select members from the Sibaya Coastal Precinct Management Association take groups on guided walk-through tours of the secure forest showcase the myriad of birdlife and indigenous nature.

Beach access

KwaZulu-Natal is known for its range of Blue Flag beaches and the sub-tropical, year-round warm weather. The Sibaya Coastal Precinct has easy access routes that lead to the 6.5km of beach and is approximately 5-minutes away from Umhlanga’s popular swimming beach.

Nature trails and pathways

Nature trails have become a big part of the KwaZulu-Natal outdoor community. The Sibaya Coastal Precinct boasts 75km of paths, trails and boardwalks that weave throughout the area. These areas will ensure nature lovers can safely explore these routes whether individuals choose to amble along these paths, run or mountain bike.
